2021 Chevrolet Colorado

The Colorado comes in four trims, the WT, LT, Z71, and off-road-ready ZR2. The Colorado has handsome and muscular styling with aggressive-looking rectangular-shaped LED headlights, multispoke aluminum wheels, and a body-colored rear bumper with matching mirror caps, and door handles. Depending on the trim, the Colorado comes as an Extended Cab with two doors and two rows that seat up to five. With the Crew Cab, the Colorado has four doors and two rows of seats that can hold up to six people. The Extended Cab comes with a long bed that's 74 inches long, and the Crew Cab comes with either the long bed or a short bed that's 61.70 inches long.

Standard across the lineup, you'll find a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 200 horsepower and 191 pound-feet of torque. This engine pairs with a six-speed automatic transmission. You can also choose two optional engines for the Colorado. One is a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that delivers 308 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque and pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The final option is a turbocharged 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 181 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. The diesel engine pairs with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Rear-wheel drive comes standard across the trims, with the option to choose four-wheel drive. When you plan on taking your Colorado off-roading, choose the ZR2, which comes with raised suspension, adaptive dampers, an electronic locking rear differential, hill descent control, and fender flares. You can also get the available AEV protective skid plates for the ZR2. Select trims have an Autotrac two-speed transfer case for low gearing. When properly equipped, the 2021 Colorado can tow up to 7,000 pounds and has an available payload capacity of 1,550 pounds. You even get up to 49.9 cubic feet of interior cargo space.

The base WT trim has cloth seats and vinyl floor coverings, and as you move up the trim levels, you get leather upholstery, multiadjustable heated front seats, and a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel. All trims come with Chevrolet's infotainment system featuring a 7-or 8-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Standard features include two USB ports and a six-speaker sound system. The three upper trims get a Wi-Fi hot spot, two additional USB ports, a navigation system, and a premium Bose seven-speaker stereo.
