2022 Chevrolet Blazer

For the 2022 model year, the Chevrolet Blazer is available in four trims: 2LT, 3LT, RS, and Premier. The 2LT sits atop 18-inch alloy wheels, while the 3LT gets you a power liftgate and heated outside mirrors. You get a programmable power liftgate, 20-inch wheels, and an attention-grabbing unique black grille with black exterior trim for the RS. Finally, the Premier further upgrades the exterior via an exclusive chrome and silver trim.

Depending on the trim you opt for, you get one of two engines for the 2022 Chevy Blazer. The standard power plant is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission producing up to 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque for all but the RS. Standard for the sportier RS and optional for the other trims is a 3.6-liter V-6 engine mated to the same nine-speed transmission and garners up to 308 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque.

Chevy has paid close attention to making the Blazer perform and fun to drive for 2022. Standard on all trims is a front-wheel drive, with an all-wheel drive being available as an upgrade to take on rougher terrain and adverse weather conditions with ease. To increase fuel efficiency, the Blazer features an automatic engine stop when idle and will automatically restart when you release the gas and press the brake, which is especially helpful in traffic. The Blazer offers four-wheel anti-lock brakes to make stops as efficient as possible.

The 2022 Chevrolet Blazer has an interior that is equal parts functional and comfortable. Starting with the base 2LT, you will get a six-speaker audio system with satellite radio, driven by an 8-inch touch-screen infotainment system that features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, along with four USB ports to keep all devices charged on the go. If you opt for the 3LT, you add plush leather upholstery and heated front seats. Available for the 3LT is the Sound and Technology package, which offers upgrades that include a premium eight-speaker Bose sound system, a digital rearview mirror, a 120-volt power port, and navigation. The RS offers the 120-volt power port standard, as well as an upgraded touch screen with navigation and a heated steering wheel. If you opt for either the RS or the Premier, an Enhanced Convenience package is available, which includes driver's seat memory settings, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and the Bose sound system. Lastly, the Driver Confidence package, available for the RS and Premier, will get you wireless charging.

Chevrolet understands that features are irrelevant if you don't stay safe on the road. The Blazer is outfitted with many driver-assistance and safety features, such as collision mitigation, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking. The 3LT adds a blind-spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alert. Finally, the Driver Confidence package, available for the RS and Premier, includes adaptive cruise control, rear-seat reminder, and enhanced emergency braking.
