1. Kern River Bike Trail Park

This scenic bike trail features spectacular views of the mountains, hills, and streams. You’ll love the fantastic plants, flowers, and wildlife along with the park’s path system. It’s an easy area to enjoy over the weekend and a great opportunity for exercise with the family. Kern River Bike Trail is a friendly place and a fantastic spot to explore nature.

2. Yokuts Park

Yokuts Park is a fantastic outdoor space with biking trails that run along the Kern River, a soccer field, washrooms, and drinking fountains. It’s an excellent part to explore with the family for a picnic and access the nearby soccer fields, amphitheater, and water splash parks. Yokuts Park is pet-friendly and hosts many events throughout the year, including live music, entertainment, and marathons.

3. R and R Trails

If you’re in search of an outdoor space that specializes in biking trails, you’ll love R and R Trails. This park is built to offer a range of fun and exciting challenges for all levels of cycling. Bike-sharing is also available.

4. The Park at River Walk

This public park offers 32 acres of space connected by a stream and two lakes. It’s located next to the Kern River Bike Trail, with access to the Spectrum Amphitheatre, one of the largest theatres in the town. The park features many grass areas for sports and picnics and lots of trails for cycling and running. 

5. Beach Park

Beach Park is a fantastic place to enjoy a wide range of activities and lots of space. The park features a skate park, baseball diamond, soccer field, horseshoe pits, and access to the river. You’ll love the bike trail and all the views from the path when you explore the terrain. Beach Park is located at the intersection of Oak street and 24th street and near the Kern River Parkway. 

6. River Oaks Park

River Oaks Park is an amazing place to capture beautiful sunsets and stunning scenery over the lake. You’ll enjoy the calm, open space and gorgeous trees with lots of shade. The park features many cycling paths, a pavilion for picnics, and playgrounds for kids with lakeside views. 

7. Mill Creek Park

Mill Creek Park is a wonderful space to visit if you’re looking for the ideal place for fishing and cycling. This amazing place features terrific lakeside views, bridges, gardens, and plenty of paths to ride on your bicycle. Mill Creek is a fun place for families to spend the weekend and reserve the facilities for special events or parties.
