1. Silver Creek Park
Toss some frisbees around at the disc golf course you can find at Silver Creek Park to have a fun activity to enjoy on your day out. You’ll also find fields perfect for any pick-up game you’re looking to get together, as well as two different playgrounds that offer a variety of fun ways for any children playing here to have some fun.
2. Yokuts Park
The concerts and other special events held regularly at Yokuts Park make this local spot even more fun to visit, so check out their schedule and plan your trip accordingly. There’s also a playground to enjoy on any occasion, as well as access to a network of bike trails that any cyclist in our area has to check out.
3. Hart Park
With over 370 acres to explore, you’ll have plenty of space to yourself when you stop by at Hart Park. You can cool off in the warm weather by wading or swimming in the water here, while the equestrian trails that run through the park are the perfect destination for any horse-riding enthusiasts.
4. Emerald Cove Park
This 12-acre park features a ball field that sports fans in our area are sure to love. If you aren’t in the mood for something quite that vigorous, you can opt for a leisurely stroll through the open green spaces and tree-filled woodlands that are waiting here for you to explore.
5. Wilderness Park
Take a stroll down the shaded walking paths at Wilderness Park to enjoy the natural beauty that flourishes in our area in all of its glory. This dog-friendly park also makes a terrific place for you to plan a fun day out with your four-legged friend, so bring your canine companion along for the action.
6. Jastro Park
Shoot some hoops on the basketball courts at Jastro Park, or work on your serve and volley on the tennis courts instead. There’s also a jungle gym that any children joining you for your day out will love climbing around on, and horseshoe pits that provide another fun pastime to partake in.
7. Beale Park
Catch a show at the outdoor Greek-style theater at Beale Park to turn your day out at the park into an unforgettable memory. There’s also a large flock of wild parakeets that call this park home, so you might get to take a peek at these colorful neighbors when you walk the grounds here.
